Created my app and when testing for Twitter - after putting in my username and password - Rats your username and/or password could not be validated any ideas? Also for Facebook I get this: some code with - Error validating application what does this mean and how can I fix it

Android? iOS? What version? If Android...did you enter your Twitter / Facebook API keys in the strings.xml file?

Have facebook fixed, there is no place to put a Twitter API key in there

This means you're on buzztouch v1.4. So yes, not Twitter API key to enter anywhere. More details are needed about the error you are seeing. Where is the error showing? On the phone, in Eclipse, on a twitter screen etc.

Yes this app is on buzztouch v1.4 and the error I'm getting is on the phone itself when trying to send a tweet it says Rats, either the username, password or both can not be verified is there some place in the code before compiling that I can put the API information in for twitter?

We heard about this a bit ago in v1.4 but havn't spent much time looking at it. I'd be willing to bet that Twitter / Facebook have changed their authorization process / SDK's and we'll need to roll something new? Check this post for more info in a few days.

Yeah having same auth errors for Facebook & 'Rats' not found on Twitter - currently using BT v1.4 & Android 2.2 - I believe this is prob because Twitter have changed their setup & that Facebook has changed 'Share' to 'Send' & something else I think Anyway have removed from my active apps until i can get this sorted, but still working & testing on non-distributed apps to try and fix it Would it be a case of going into Twitter & Facebook APIs to get new code and replacing in the App sourcecode? or is it at the BT 'cloud' end?

Forgot to add - is this worth working on & spending time on to fix, or is V1.5 for Android fairly imminent?

v1.5 is 'fairly imminent' - I guess? laughing. Like soooo many other things around here, it's really hard to predict. The amount of time we spend lending support is directly related to how long it takes us to roll-out new gadgets - including v1.5 for Android. We could spend literally 24 / 7 giving advise and helping and we try to balance our development time with our support time as most folks have figured out. However...we're really having a hard time lately keeping up with all the growth. Amazing how many folks are using this thing! We are really REALLY hoping v.15 for Anroid is within a few weeks but also understand that literally hundreds of question come in each day and we can't seem to find a way to 'not help' Thanks as usual ;-)

Has anyone found a solution to this?? I'm experiencing the same problem.
