Hopelessly Over My Head & Need/Wish To Pay A BuzzTouch Guru

I've created my apps just fine using the templates online, but cannot figure out how to install Eclipse, etc. Would love to pay someone to remote access my computer to get me past this hump. Any BuzzTouch gurus out there for hire?

Hi in MA and Go Red Sox!!! So... your post is comforting because it's not the typical 'help me I'm stuck' message. It's OK to be in over your head. And, it's possible that you actually are and do need some actual computer help. Nudge this post in a few days if nobody offers, or, you're still unable to navigate the steps.

it seems like sometimes monkeys can (with good instructional videos) write sonnets. I may possibly be getting eclipse to accept my app. What to do after that and how to submit it to the market. Well, there's probably something on youtube for that, but must say I wish the wonderfully calm and clear person who made your Android videos would make the next one for me. PS: not a sports fan, but appreciate the shout out. Goooo Boston Ballet!!! :-))

Thanks for watching out for me. I just did something phenom stupid. Had trouble getting it to run. Decided to reboot eclipse, but couldn't easily find what I thought was the program, so moved the eclipse.exe icon to the desktop, not noting from whence I was doing that. Now, when I click it I get a message saying unable to find the companion library. Any help in telling me how to put the two back together?

Monkey done good. Reinstalled Android and now can see my app in the simulator. However, nothing much works or shows there. My app is mainly access to 28 podcasts which are found via soundcast.com urls. When I click the screen which should contain 56 submenus containing links to the podcasts the submenu does not display.

Glad you are entertained, but this sad little monkey-brain has had it. Was up until 3 am slipping and sliding around in banana peels and worse. I need to hire someone to set these damn things up, train me, and let me loose later. I've got the content and the graphics. I just need someone who knows how to do the electrical wiring and turn on the lights. Remotely .... Can you do it? I will pay!!!

I can't, but if you can't find anyone on here that can/will help you do this remotely then a local developer or even an Computer Science student at a college close to you should be able to take care of it.

Yeah, thanks. I've got to find a way to get some MIT student on this. Thanks for that nudge. I'll roam around MIT in a sad monkey suit and see what happens :-)

@roxzi: Send an email to info 'at' buzztouch.com with: a) Subject line: Banana's b) Body: a) App name, exactly as it appears in your control panel. c) Your phone number. We'll be able to help for Android, iOS is a totally different story but we can discuss. We'll figure out a time to call...may be a day or two, phone-support is nearly impossible and something we almost never do ;-)
