I am doing this for my 10 yer old, who knows more about apps than I ever will! What's the deal with copywriting? Do I check that box that says I basically understand? Or do I copywrite idea before starting. Anyone have guidance on this one? Thx! June

The project source is licensed under a GNU, General Public License. The software is Open Source. As long as you follow the provisions outlined in the license text, you can do whatever you want with your project

The idea behind the copyright button is this: Checking the box means you're not including material in your app that you are not allowed to. Example: You're not selling albums or logos or artwork that is copyright protected by somebody else. This is related to the content in your app, not the source-code for your app. The source-code for your app is licensed to you in a way that allows you to do anything you want with it (including sell is) as long as you leave the original LICENSE.txt file intact. This is a common approach. @June: As long as your 11 yr. old is not putting content in the app that shouldn't be there, like copyrighted music, movies, trademarks, etc you'll be fine.
