Radio Stream, It works but an Error message appears anyway? (iOS v1.5)

Hi, I have a CustomURL page which plays an Audio stream really nicely. However it displays an error message before going ahead and playing the station in Quicktime. The error message is: 'iOS Error code: 204 iOS Error Message: Plug-in handled load.' Any ideas? Thanks

confirm: This is a Custom URL Screen with background - audio? the background audio feature is designed to play file-based audio, not a stream. It may work with a stream but isn't built for that. The message you're seeing is probably trigged when the audio-player cannot download and save the .mp3 you pointed it at (because you're not using an .mp3) Maybe open BT_Objects > BT_audoPlayer.m to see how this works. Where is the error showing..in the console? The app itself? A pop-up message? Supressing the error will depend on where it's showing and what's triggering it.

Apologies, No, the URL is a direct link to the audio playlist on the internet, it is not background audio. The error message appears as a pop-up in the App. When the 'Radio' button is clicked, it displays in a blue box. If you click 'Ok' on the message it goes ahead and loads up quicktime and plays the music stream (which is what it's supposed to do). Theres no issue with how the radio functions as it works perfectly, its just un-needed error message. The link to the audio is the same kind of link used to listen to Streams in iTunes, which makes it great to use on iPhone.

Got it. Easy fix. Re-download project... should be fine ;-) This error message should be ignored in these cases and wasn't, is now.

Hi guys. Here's a problem I ran into. I used a url for an audio streaming page and it opens up fine in quicktime when I go to the page. The only problem is that the stream stops when my iPod's screen goes off from being idle. Is there a way to make the stream keep going even if the iPod goes idle? I saw there was a code in the buzz touch doc. http://www.buzztouch.com/docs/v1.5 But where exactly do I need to put the code in Xcode? I've been looking for a folder called BT_Objects>BT_audioplayer.m but can't seem to find it. Is there another method or am I looking in the wrong place. Any help would be great!!

Sounds like you want / need to set up an Audio Session. iOS handles audio a few different ways when the app goes idle. See this post for deatils and a fix ;_) http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=95D786F2233610A930AE45F&status=&searchInput=audio&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1
