I use my iPad to tweak my apps when out of the office and I can type in the Custom HTML - Text page without issue and save it. Occasionally the Pop-up windows in Advanced Screen Properties are not displaying all the fields, but this can be solved with using the next button on the top of your keyboard. Can you get the cursor? select the text box and highlight the text you want to edit? I find that sometimes the touch sensitivity is a little off, and you need to find the right tapping to bring your cursor to a desired position and display the keyboard.
