any recommendations for making html pages look right in iOS?

I'm making some html pages using the Custom HTML - Text option and although the pages look good (created in dreamweaver cs5), there's a problem with the text in the right column – it butts right up to the edge of the screen. I've tried making the three columns I'm using 100% width, 90% width, I've tried adding a blank 4th column to try to give the page some space between the text and the edge of the screen but nothing seems to help. Does anyone know of an html template that makes a great looking page that fits within the screen nicely? I've spent a couple of frustrating hours on this. There's a nice margin on the left, but I can't duplicate it on the right side of the page. (iOS, buzztouch 1.5)

What I did was make a test custom HTML-text screen in my project. Then I copied the header code for that file and saved it as a template ios page and edited with my html editor program (I use Kompozer). worked great!

Any advice on how to get the page with equal spacing left and right on the iphone? Would you be willing to share a little of your successful code?
