There are only two places the navigation bar color can be set. In the Global Theme or in the screens Advanced Settings. Are you talking maybe about the Status Bar? This is different than the Navigation bar. Refreshing the screen to show the menu.... this doens't make any sense. Is the menu blank when the app loads? Is the home screen a menu?
