Issues in 1.5 - weird rotation on iPhone; email function; splash screen

I am building an App in Ver1.5, downloaded the source code and am using my iPhone rather than the Simulator to monitor changes in the App. I have a weird thing happening when I open the App and rotate the phone - the Status bar rotates but the App does not. Second, I am using the tab buttons - I set up a tab to go to an e-mail screen, that does not appear to work although when I reference the screen out of a menu, the e-mail screen works fine. Can you go from a tab to the e-mail screen? Finally, the splash screen does not appear every time I open the App - only when it is refreshed and opened. I am using an image which I have placed in the BT_Images in Xcode. Thanks.

Restarting my iPhone seems to have corrected the weird rotation effect.

As far as the splash screen goes, it's designed to only open the first time the app is opened. This is the case with most apps I've seen in the iTunes store. When you refresh the app it resets itself so you see the splash screen again. Not sure if you can set it up to show every time or not.

Email: Email and Call and a few other 'functions' that don't open a screen but instead open a native iOS application will not work as home-screens for tabs.
