How can I distribute my app?

Hi, sorry I have read something about this but I do not understand very well. I would like to have 3 ways to share my app. 1)a url to download 2)via sms or bluetooth 3)android market or apple store Regarding the last one, I have documentation. However, for the others, What must I do? thank you very much!

Start by doing a Google search for 'mobile app distribution options' You'll need to get a basic understanding of how mobile software is distributed before being able to take advantage of what this site offers. If you're unsure about the dozens of different ways to disturbute mobile software, start by reading / learning all you can about all the different options.

sorry David, I do not want abuse your kindness. But after trying in different ways, I do not get it. I just want to upload to my server the app and provide the people a url where they can download the application. How I can do this? thank you very much!

Don't be sorry... it's OK. For iOS this isn't possible. For Android, first use the Export Application tool in Eclipse. It will produce a file called yourappname.apk. Place this .apk file on your server. Android devices that visit the url to your .apk file can install your application. End users will need to adjust a setting in their devices to 'allow non market apps'

Thank you David, in the case of iOS I guess the only possibility is through the apple store, no?

Yup... Apple controls iOS distribution. You'll need an Apple Developer account to do this. You do not need a seperate Apple Dev. account for each app. One account can post as many apps to the app store as needed.
