News: Trouble with email confirmations

We are having trouble with the outbound mail server that handles email confirmation messages. Please bear with us if you have recently registered and have not received your email confirmation message. We are working to correct the problem as quickly as we can. Thanks for your understanding.

The server that handles outbound emails has been re-booted and appears to be working fine. This mean you may receive an unexecpted email that didn't get 'sent' as expected earlier. Thanks for the patience while we try out best to keep 'all systems go'

Just so people know, I never did receive an email to my hotmail account, but as soon as I changed this to an account other than hotmail, I got the confirmation! Trouble sending to hotmail?

I have not received any confirmation emails. I have tried a few email addresses. In addition the contact popup also fails with a error that the message field is empty. A bit hard to contact you guys.....

Hard to contact us? We get hundreds of messages everyday at the email address listed on the contact us page. Not sure what to advise here? We've confirmed your email address so that should be fine how. However, I'de love to know what browser you're using so we can figure out why you can't send messages like everyone else? Thnx

You know what? I just tried again and it worked. The only difference is that the email address had been confirmed (since you kindly did that) whereas the previous one had not. I went back and tried with the unconfirmed email and it now also works. Go figure. I used firefox 4.01 and IE 9.08 to send the messages. Maybe becuase as I use I was unconfirmed? Anyway, thanks again

Hi I registered a little earlier today and didn't receive the email with the confirmation link. I entered my email again and still nothing. How long do I get before my account gets pulled for not confirming? Should I just try again later? Thanks!
