Flip Book Feature

I am trying to come up with the best option available to display a small magazine style document. I want the user to slide or flip the pages not just scroll down from a word/pdf document. Any Ideas? I am hoping to get on the early adopter list so I can explore the photo gallery option in v1.5... Thanks, Magnus

Been working on this for awhile now. Expect to see it released in the next few weeks.

Thanks David that sounds promising. I was trying to build one on the web and just point to the address however realized quickly I would have flash issues. Magnus

You can create a turning page flipbook from PDF or images by Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro: http://www.kvisoft.com/flipbook-maker-pro/ or its flipbook maker for mac.

Would creating the flip book in html5 solve this, then simply just point to the web address? I am not sure the flip feature would work on the iphone/ipod anyone ever tried this? Thanks, Magnus

@Mag37: HTML5 would probably work fine. There are a few examples online. Maybe test this by creating a simple Custom URL page and post what you find? The solution we are workign on is a bit more complex because of the need to allow PDF's to be stored locally in the project. But... what you come up with may be helpful anyway.

I actually found a link that has a flip book example created in html5 and I am sad to say that it didn't work when I tried it on the simulator or my iphone. The pages does not flip like the do in chrome/safari here is the link http://www.html5rocks.com/tutorials/casestudies/20things_pageflip/example/ I think I have to hold out and wait for your solution :) I have plenty of other things to do for the application anyway. Thanks for an awesome product! Magnus

well, very nice, you could also use xFlip software to create stunning flash flip page from pdf files easily, http://www.xflip.com or some other digital publications.
