Custom URL not showing images in one app

Strange problem: I have two apps, both have a Custom URL screen, both pointing to exactly the same URL. One app is showing the text and images ok, the other is not showing the images (just the text and a image placeholder with a questionmark). App1: CISSP screen About(2) App2: CISSP2CISSP, screen About PS. the background of the CISSP app still stays black, on my device and simulator. Mentioned this problem before in another post.

There isn't anyway for me to know for sure why your image is not showing. I can only speculate...some ideas... The image address in your 'dropbox' hosted web-page is relative, not absolute. Because of this, the browser that requests the file is loading the image from the same directory as the page is hosted on. This is known as the base-directory. It could be that iOS doesn't understand what the heck dl.dropbox.com/u/... is? The part that I don't understand is why one of your apps shows it and one does not. Are you sure both are Custom URL screens and one not a Custom HTML Screen? I was not able to look at CISSP2CISSP because it does not exist in your control panel. I can't look at apps that don't exist. You probably have another app with a similar name and mistakenly posted this name? Are both apps the same released source-code? Things to evolve and I would make sure by re-downloading. Where is the question mark coming from? Is this the question mark that the browser is putting in the image-location or does it look like an image from somewhere else? (like in the project, or from drop-box?) The background still stays black. Your theme has a gradient that renders exactly as expected on every device we've tested it on. It is strange that you have a gradient in the theme, that will apply to every screen. Then, one some screens you have overridden this in the advanced settings with another gradient. What this does is apply the screens gradient on-top of the themes gradient. This doesn't necessarily hurt anything but does seem like an odd approach? Look at the console, it will tell you when it's setting the background color's for the screens as they load. Is it setting the colors to match the selections in your control panel? You could also try setting a SOLID background color in the theme (like white), then the gradient too. Gradients go on-top of the solid color. This could be the confusion too?

Hi David. The URL with the dropbox location in not the problem. The URL works in all browsers on PC, Safari on iPhone and in the CISSP app in BT. Just not in the CISSP 2 CISSP app. My mistake you couldn't check the other app, I left out the spaces between the words, the correct name is CISSP 2 CISSP. Both use the same URL and same type of screen. The ? is the browser telling us it's can't find/load the image. Strange is won't work.. Regarding the black background in the CISSP app. The odd approach is the result of trying anything to get rid of the black background. I haven't got the opportunity to check the console log in the simulator about this, get back on that later on. I started the CISSP 2 CISSP app because of the black backgrounds in the CISSP app. Sort of giving up and make a clean start. I am planning to delete the CISSP app and continue with the CISSP 2 CISSP app, but the URL problem is stopping me from doing that.
