Users can not save or dowload images anywhere in the app in Android.

Hello! Want to give away some free images and wallpaers in my app. (And have made a html page in the app for this.) Normaly with a Android phone, in a browser you can just point and hold on a image for like 3 seconds and then you get the option to save it, but in the app I cant. I have tried old and new android phones and it does not work to save any image -no matter where the images in the app is. How can I give away images in the app i made. Is there a way around this. Is this problem the same for iphone apps?

'Normally' in an Android phone isn't applicable here. The native browser in Android is not the same browser as the one in your app. You can do all sorts of things with the browser in Android that you cannot do in other apps. Bookmarks, History, Share Page, Save Image, all sorts of stuff. Your app is not the browser app - it's yours. Your VERY SIMPLE v1.4 application doesn't do all kinds of things - saving images from HTML is one of them. It's not a 'problem' it's just not part of the app. If you want this type of functionality you'll need to develop it yourself or wait for us to roll-out v1.5 for Anroid and hope that feature is included. Sharing photos from HTML is not part of the planned features. Sharing photos from a photo gallery (like in v1.5 of iOS) is and will be supported.

Ok thank you now I understand better. I knew it was not a bug or a fault but I thought maybe there was some way around it I could try. I have no coding skills so I put a photo gallery on the wishing list in the 1.5 Android. Great to hear gallery is supported in iOS. Think I will start working on an iphone app soon :) Thank you for your quick response!
