Data for this screen has not been downloaded

Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. Keep getting this notification no matter what I do.. Tried both with and without the dataURL value. I also tried importing the configuration data the old fashioned way.. But the message keeps popping up each time I refresh, and no screens are loading. Am I the only one having this problem?

Dunno if you're the only one but for sure the first one to report it. This is the message that should show for an individual screen, not the app itself. What screen is this showing on - the home screen presumeably. What app name (as it appears in your conrol panel), I'll look.

Just looked at your newest app, figured that's the one you're having trouble with. Look at the HTML Love Calc Nickname in your list of screens. Is this what you've name it? I'm seeing some random characters. Not sure if you're testing something or not. I'm betting so. Ok, so just downloaded your project, removed the crazy strange symbols in the control panel for the name of the HTML Love calc. Worked.

Thanks, Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, that worked for the home screen, but not for the document screens.. I have tested with pdf, html and word - also tried using the sample docs to make sure I haven't done anything wrong while adding files to xcode. Not used any strange characters on these screens. I have also checked my internet connection by testing with youtube - works fine. It Seems to be something with the pdf, word, html etc.. Seems no one else has reported this.. I really have no idea what I might be doing wrong.. heh.. breathe in, breathe out

All good, we'll get it figured out. What does the output console show? It should show where it's looking for the file. Use the Clear Console button then tap a screen to load, it will output all the info related to loading that screen. In other words, it should show where it's looking for the file, where it's download from, where it's saving to etc.

Hi... re-download project, re-launch, see if it loads. Just found and fixed something. AMAZES me how many little things go unoticed. Something like this, geez, how could it be! Laughs. I think it's fine now. Just test again. I was able to duplicate the trouble and did see where it was not even trying to load any document, yikes. The marriage between the control panel and the iOS app is amazingly complex and as such there are literally thousands of gotcha's that we deal with when getting this all to work (before releasing it). Funny how the simple one slip through the cracks sometimes. Should work now.

Guys, btw, it looks like the typo in the message is still there/back. I thought David fixed it before but now, after downloading 1.5 source I see this message again: Data for by this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. NOTE: The logic and programming is working correctly, it is just the text/grammer/typo: <b>for by</b>

Hmm... yeah, the typo is in about 15 places, sigh... The Localizable.Strings file has it and all the places where it's used in the source (when the users locale does not have it's own Localizable.strings file. I just re-posted these files to the download server again to make sure. I'm thinking you all have tons of copies of tons of apps on your machines - funny. Old ones, new ones, broken ones. giggles.

I'm getting the same message that Data for this screen has not been downloaded. Please check your internet connection. I'm not too sure exactly how to go about fixing it.

Project just updated. Found an issue with the 08/08/2011 update that broke the Custom URL and RSS Screens. Should be OK now. Re-download the source for your app, compile > build.

Oh, now on a different computer it did work, but for some reason all my equations are coming out funny!
