V1.5 Background Image Not Updating

This is my first attempt at creating an app. I'm having issues with the background image on a button menu. When I update the background image in the BT_Images folder or a URL is shows the old background. No matter what I try it never displays the updated background.

Hello @princesscheer, I have been having the same issue as well. The folks at Buzztouch are working on this issue and plan to release a major update/fix to v1.5 in a few days. See this URL for more info: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=F2908EF8C0813239A7368E3 Check your 'Change Log / App Updates' page in your v1.5 control panel periodically for updates and/or keep watching the forum for news. Best Regards,

@ princesscheer, hi in Indy - cool. Background can get tricky, and like @birwin mentioned, we've made some improvements that will be relased soon. However, just getting a new background to load should work with the version you have. Are you using an image you drug into Xcode or a URL? If an Xcode image, do you see the image in the BT_images folder (in Xode). If a URL, do you also have an image name setup? a) enter an image name OR an image URL in the control panel b) Launch the app c) Open the Console (in Xcode, Output Console is super useful) d) Load the menu screen, look at the console... does it mention any problems with loading an image?

@David... I'm getting this: BT_background_view: Image for background view exists in Xcode bundle - not downloading. and BT_screen_splash: Image for splash-screen exists in bundle - not downloading. and BT_fileManager: File does not exist in Xcode bundle: queue.png BT_fileManager: File does not exist in cached directory: queue.png Yet they are in BT_Images. Queue is in a folder within BT_images, and background images are in the root of BT_Images

@ radmacdaddy: easy fix. It sounds like you added the images (dragged them in) to the project folder you downloaded. Drag them into Xcode. In 'mac speak' - Add them to the project using Xcode. Open Xcode, drag the entire folder of your custom images over the BT_Images folder, check the box that confirms you want to 'copy items to project' I'll be it works ;-)
