If you're talking about the HTML editor thing in the control panel - not surprising. That 'magic box' doesn't perform well sometimes. Depends on lots of factors, like your browser settings, etc. It also has lots of trouble if folks cut-n-paste into the content area from another program. Example, MS Word content kills it!
