I'm currently set to 0.02 and in my simulator this seems like it's quite a distance view. I don't see an up close view of the street. Then go to Advanced Map Properties > Show/Hide > Map Behavior > Enter in the field Single Location Default Zoom- a number about 22 and use whole numbers.
