Custom HTML Screen Background Color Problem

I have not been able to change the color of the screen background on a custom html screen. I have a color specified in global theme and advanced properties on the page and the background color does not change, is always black. What am I missing? Thanks.

Custom HTML and Custom URL screen usually render HTML. In many cases the HTML has a background color to set - not always - but sometimes. For both of you. a) What is the name of the app (exactly as it appears in the control panel b) What is the nickname of the screen (or screens) that won't honor the background settings in it's advanced properties Be precise when providing these names, we'll get a look.

restdeals, screen nickname is news page. The html page uses css to set the background color. The black background color is behind the page, shown when the page is pulled up or down. Can that color be changed?

@Mackimack Same ole' struggle with special characters. A map location in your configuration data had, you guessed it, something I couldn't read. I changed it to something generic. You'll need to change it to something appropriate. App loads now. Not sure how we are are ever going to get this international character set issue resolved - sigh.

Sounds to me like you need to create another Localizable.strings file for your local. There are dozens of aritlce online about how to to this. You could start here: http://www.icanlocalize.com/site/tutorials/iphone-applications-localization-guide/

something is fishy here. when I go in and change for example back = tillbaka the app will not read it in. It has worked before?? It is a cat buried here!! :)) I can troubleshoot a bit and see where the fault lies. Thanks!

Ok, well it just seems Buzztouch should give us more control over the app we want to create if they want us to keep using this site. I just literally gave up because theres no way to add custom screens or custom HTML. What if I wanted to use PHP or something to pull some info and display it? I dont want to use RSS. Anyways, its only good for beginners. Im out.

@LegionX We're sorry to see you go but undrestand if our tool is not a goog match for you. I can assure you that there are countless ways to create custom HTML and other custom screens, including screens that pull data form your URL. If we see you again, great, else, best of luck.
