Does app always need internet to work.

Hi Guys, Just a quick question. Do we always need to access the internet to populate the app? Is there a way to structure the app so it does not rely on the internet to open. My problem is my students are in a hospital setting where all cell phone signals are blocked. Please advise. Thanks Anthony

Good discussion here abou this: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=31416AD1102E020 The best info about how to structure it to work offline is in my Feb. 12 post, about half way down. This idea (offline access without having to be a tech-nerd) if a high priority. Expect the project to fundamentally change they way it 'gets' data in the very near future. We are working out the logic so the configuration data (all of it) is included in the download so the app will run without the internet even on it's first launch. It would then only use the internet to 'try' to get updates. Also.. keep in mind that the nature of the content is very reltated to it's ability to work offline (RSS feeds, Maps, etc, almost always need network)
