ibooks support

Would it be possible at some point to add ibooks to the list of native apps we can access? I mentioned before I have a lot of pdf files in my project, and rather than open them in safari I think it would be much better to have the option to open in ibooks where the user can them email/print/save the file. No rush, just an idea. Grazie, Josh

We didn't forgot about your question... still looking into it. Nudge this post in a day or two if you don't hear anything from us ;-)

No luck opening iBooks using the Launch Native App feature. This is because iBooks does not register it's method to do this per Apple's choice. You can open an ISBN number to load the Book Store - this is different. The methods described here are what we would like to implement eventually: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/UIKit/Reference/UIDocumentInteractionController_class/Reference/Reference.html We have not done this but encourage anyone with some time to attempt it and share the results ;-)
