Naming Javascript Prompt boxes

Hi there, I started trying to make an app a couple of days ago, at which point I knew nothing about html/javascript. I found quite a few tutorials on google, and this has helped a lot. One thing I can't find is how to name a prompt/alert box. Whenever I have one popup, it just has a default name, and bascially I'd like to know if theres a way to change that name to something else? Thanks

The name, as in the title of the box? No, you cannot, javascript names this for you and it cannot be altered. HOWEVER, you should look into jQuery (google it) or another library. These types of libraries make showing alerts, dialogues and other common thing really really easy. And, they are totally customizable so you can change the look-n-feel of the otherwise ugly Javacript boxes. hope this helps

Thanks, I'll have a look at that and see what I can find. It'll be nice to be able to call them something other than just about:blank.
