GPS Message

Hi, I have an app with GPS function activate and location map are okay when the map is showed(I can see my position and the position of the location I am looking for) but If I tap the info button (on the red pin) to open native maps application to find route direction appear this message: it appears that device location information is unavailable. This feature will not work without location information. I am working with the configuration data URL disabled, maybe the problem is here? Can I change something in the config file to acitivate route info? Thank you in advance Guido

Hmm....the configuration data URL is not related to the Location Manager. Browse the Console with the app running...connected to your phone... what does it say about the Location Manager? If it's showing you on the map, it should know the location and should show the route.

Not a nightmare. Funny. We love Guido in Italy! So... I wonder why the location manager is failing? The map and the driving directions work a little differently. There are some complex things Apple does to show 'your location' on a map that are not always available to your app. Your app tries to use the GPS, not the Cell Tower location. This means if you're GPS is not working, you won't have a location but may have a map. Confusing I know. Could it be that you (in the past) said 'no' when asked to allow location information? If so, check your phones settings and see if you can 'allow' the app again. It won't ask you again through a prompt. Not sure why else your GPS could be failing.

Hi, my GPS is okay, I checked all settings. I have the map, the blue pin (my position) and the red pin (the location that I searched), if I ask to find the route appear the message above. Is strange because the same function works perfectly in another similar app build with buzztouch 1.4. Grazie

Not sure what else to advise. If you're getting the DID FAIL WITH ERROR message, something isn't working. The 'same funciton works perfectly in v1.4' is not related. The two apps (1.4 / 1.5) are 100% different ;-) So... something causing the BT_locationManager to fail. iOS is reporting a Did Fail With Error message for some reason - not sure what? Do you have a settings screen in your app (one you added in your control panel) to show info about the device? how about a 'Allow GPS' screen in your app? You could try adding these and see what they output.
