How to create event list

Brand new to this! I would like to add a listing of events that I already have in a database that has xml feed set up. How can I use the feed to add the info for events?

Hi in Irwindale: I can think of a few ways to do this. Part of the magic of this whole thing is the flexibility. But, with this comes all kinds of 'what's the best way' type issues. Totally get it, hard to decide sometimes! Firstly, if your using v1.4, and not doing Android, you'll probably want to move to v1.5. It's out for our Early Adopter list (see note in control panel) but offers way more ways to do this kind of thing. It's not Android yet. Ok, how to do it. Probably the easiest way will be to output the events in RSS format (make a feed) so the app can consume it. I'm thinking a simple list of event, tapping an event leads to a details screen. So, you would produce an XML list of events + one page to serve as the template. When an item is tapped (RSS item) the details page loads and uses the ID of the item to query your database. Make sense?

Thanks for the quick response. I will continue to play with it. I was just reading further in the forum and found I need a mac to test the app which I don't have. So, this may not be the solution I was hoping for.
