Using iTunes 'Preview' Link in my App...

Hi there, If its at all possible I would love to embed an iTunes preview audio clip into my App. I need to do this via a custom HTML page though. I am able to retrieve a URL for the clip through the source code on the iTunes website. Is it possible do you think that I can use the link with the audio clip in my custom made HTML page? Ive tried to do this but I cant seem to get it to work, I wondered if anyone more experienced may be able to shed a little light on this for me please. Many thanks.

Not aware of this. What's the URL to this 'audio clip' ? Oh, wait, is this the preview song that plays when I'm browing iTunes on my phone? Cool, didn't know you could get a URL for that. Send it, I'll see what I can figure out. Also... why do you need to do this in a Custom HTML Page? Is this because your using v1.4 still? Either way's fine... just wondering.

Hi David, an example of a URL for an iTunes audio clips is like this.... 'http://a1.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music/8b/2d/42/mzi.atvjfcra.aac.p.m4a' It can be found in the source code of the webpage. Im using it in a custom HTML page because I have built a template which contains a profile, avatar, links etc of a musician. It would be awesome to include a preview clip of their music too. Im using all the fabulous features of 1.5 :) - which by the way is fantatsic.

Looking into the HTML version. This works great! a) Make any screen that allows background music. Custom HTML, Custom URL, etc, etc. b) Screens Advanced Settings > Background audio. http://a1.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music/8b/2d/42/mzi.atvjfcra.aac.p.m4a for the URL and mzi.atvjfcra.aac.p.m4a for the file name. Works awesome! You could also do this on a Streaming Audio screen. For that screen type, enter the audio URL and not the audio name (confusing I know). Looking into HTML

Custom HTML / Text screen. Paste this in between the body tags... Works sweeeet. Spice up the HTML however you want. Tons of good info here: http://developer.apple.com/library/safari/#documentation/AudioVideo/Conceptual/Using_HTML5_Audio_Video/AudioandVideoTagBasics/AudioandVideoTagBasics.html
