When I launch my (currently v1.4) app, I get several notification boxes pop up. The one informs me that an update is recommended. While this sounds like a good idea, I seem to be getting it when my provisioning device is offline, and continues to get it at each launch, even if nothing was changed (I'm guessing its still trying to reach out and get a refresh). The other notification is the Location Access Denied. I read through the recent (marathon) thread regarding turning off any GPS access, but was unsure if this would work in 1.4 also (since the user who was troubleshooting with you had since switched to 1.5). My overall question is, how can I stop all notifications like this, if my intent is for most of the information within the app will be cached at first launch, and seldom (or never) updated. ...(other than re-creating the app in 1.5)...
