Streaming audio screen customization?

Is there any way to change the way the Streaming Audio page looks? I'm currently using 1.5, and I see the controls and the black and white quicktime(?) logo. Is there any way to put a graphic there? I didn't see anything in the control panel, so I'm guessing I'd have to customize something from within Xcode? Thanks for any advice.

Try BT_audioPlayer.m in the BT_Objects folder - line 335ish. There's a file called audio0n.png in the UIImage thing - not sure if it's to relabel the stop/start buttons, or the main image where the Quicktime graphic is now. Haven't had a chance to try it myself yet, but if you give it a go, check back in and let us know if it works?

But that might just be a global change, so if it does work like I think it might, it probably won't be exactly what you want...

I think we're talking about two different things. The Background Audio feature is the one that uses the graphic Tom's mentioning. If the Quicktime screen is showing, it's because a Streaming Audio screen was configured. iOS controls this graphic and it cannot be changed. Alternatively, you could create a simple HTML page with a graphic, then use the Background Audio for that screen to play the audio.

yes, I simply added a Streaming Audio page. I'll look into the background audio like you mentioned. I'm guessing there's ways to add the play/pause and volume to a page like that, then?

On the topic of audio - is there any way to have the audio from the app play at the same time as the audio from, say, Music? Point of example, I'm creating a jogging app, wherein you navigate to each week's 'workout,' which is a (mostly-empty) audio file with timed cues at intervals - at 5 minutes, the computerized voice says 'Jog,' then after a minute, it says 'Walk,' etc. While for personal use, which is mostly what I'm doing this app for, I'd be fine without having music and just hearing the audio cues, so I don't have to keep checking my watch, but if I were to release it publicly, it'd be nice to be able to hear the cues over whatever music you're listening to. With my attempts thus far, with both streaming and background audio, when my app's audio starts playing, it kills the audio coming from the Music app. I'm assuming this has to do with the fact that they're both using the same function, but I have used some apps that play audio overlapping audio coming from Music. Is this a capability anyone has any experience with? Also, Stobe, if you put background audio on a page, it triggers a lower toolbar with a button that opens a small menu allowing for volume changes and control of the audio timeline.
