BAckgrounds / Screens / GFX

I'm having a little trouble with my apps appearance. I know the backgrounds can be tricky to setup (at least it says so in the instructions), so I'm assuming its not just me. I'm using a tabbed layout, with a left side scrolling menu. I have one graphic I am using for each tabbed background, for the time being. The problem is this: Every 3rd click of a tabbed icon, the wallpaper background shifts up. Click a tab, then another tab, then another tab - which will cause background to shift up. Then, it stays there for the duration of the users stay. It shifts my image up about 50px. What screen your on doesn't seem to matter... just the 3rd click. Weird? Or am I doing something stupid? Any help would be great. I just want to be able to have a single, well placed background image. -iSteeda

Could it be that some of your screens are using a Transparent navigation bar (advanced settings) and others are not? I'm asking because if the screen layout is different with transparent nav. bars compared to solid. With transparent nav bars, the content is 'under' the nav bar. I have not hear of this before (thousands of apps) so I'm thinking it's something easy, like the nav bar style setting.

I thought so too, so I've gone back and looked at those. I realized that before hand, and thought I checked... but now I'm double checking. The only other problem I could see it being is that in learning your system, I went and set all screen properties individually, instead of using theme settings. Now I have to go and unset all the individual properties in each screen, in lieu of doing it right. lol. Thanks for the reply... my app is coming along very well otherwise. Second question: Is there anyway to use push notifications when my RSS feed updates?

It's OK to leave the theme alone and do individual screen settings intead, just kind of a preference thing. Push Notifications: There are a few discussion about this, search the forum for 'push' or something. A few implementations have been put together but it does take some tech. Our system does not support it natively yet.
