Custom HTML Page Advice for My App, on iOS v1.5

Hi there, Im hoping someone in the forum might be able to advise me on this task ahead... I need to create a custom HTML page that will include multiple pictures, text, links etc... however I need it to be a template as I will be using the same layout again and again filled with different information. Im very limited in my knowledge on HTML but I know I will have to input certain code to make it compatible with multiple devices. Im working on this App using my 3GS iPhone as a tester so I only have the iPhone to go by. Does anyone know or can reccomend a website maybe I can find a nice HTML template to work with the iPhone? (I know asking for a HTML template is a very vague question but im stumped for ideas). Or is HTML even the right way to go about this task? Im open to all responses and help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Also if I can just add to this... Would it be best to host my images within the SDK file or have them online? Id love for this app to work offline but I dont know if adding too many pictures will make the App a large file size? I will be adding extra HTML pages constantly to this App as time goes by, so would I have to rebuild everytime I added one? (If the HTML was an offline file?) Thanks

Generally it's best to keep as much content OUT of the Xcode project as you can. Images and files embedded in the project are not only HUGE (long download from the App Store) but also very very difficult to update or change. If you have a website, park your assets there then 'point to them' with URL's. The phone will work offline in most cases. The images and HTML will be downloaded and cached on the phone for offline use. But, the user can also 'clear cache' making it the best of both. Back to the HTML question: You're on the right track. There are lots and lots of BT built apps with literally hundreds and hundreds of screens. The way most folks do this is to create a basic HTML document with placeholders for text and images. Next, when they want to create a new screen in their app, they paste the text, enter the images URL's then copy the entire thing into the BT control panel (Custom_HTML screen). This works good in the mobile space because usually mobile - centric webpages are lightweight, simple, uncomplicated (not to be confused with ugly, simple is pretty sometimes). So, where to get the template: The default HTML in the control panel for the Custom HTML screens is pretty good - no? Copy that to an HTML editor, save it, then use it over and over again? Or... just Google iPhone HTML templates - thousands of them online. Almost all are free too ;-)
