There isn't any image tag that can be used in the RSS reader.

Yeah, I did some digging and testing with that URL - a few comments. a) The URL you posted isn't the URL that provided the XML / RSS data. Paste the URL you list above in a browser, then load it. See where it ends up? Make sure you understand what URL's actually provide the data. If you're pointing to URL's that re-direct, you'll get all kinds of screwy results. b) The 'images' in the provided XML are in the description HTML. LIke phaques says, there is not an XML element with image information so it's not going to work. You may or may not understand what this means but stick with it, it'll make sense eventually ;-)

The output of this RSS is the same as the previous one. I suspect this is because it's using the same RSS output 'engine' (whatever is creating the RSS on the backend). Spend a few minutes understanding how RSS is formatted (google 'RSS format') it will make lots of sense. What's happening is that these RSS feeds are putting all kinds of HTML (web-page-markup) inside the description tag. This forum doens't allow posting of tags like the less than or greater than tags so I can post what I wish you could see. Do this.. a) Load the URL in Firefox b) From the menu, 'View Source' c) Save the source code (looks like HTML) as a plain text file d) Open the plain text file with a text editor This will allow you to see how each 'story item' is formatted. Inside each story item you'll see title, description, link, pubDate etc. it's not tough but does take some time to figure out. If you can get your head around it it will save you tons of time. Start here: http://www.w3schools.com/rss/rss_tag_image.asp

Follow up clarification on this topic: I am looking at an RSS feed with story details:

Anna Vissi Filan8rwpiko

Cast: Anna Vissi Live

Tags:

<media:player url=http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=22751971 />

Anna Vissi Filan8rwpiko

Using this information , in BT interface v 1.5, the XML Element Data-Points should be: Story XML Element item Title XML Element title Description XML Element description Link XML Element link Append Value to Link URL Image XML Element media:thumbnail, ???? How do I define the Image Element values in this particular case for the BT RSS Reader input? Thanks

Yes, the 'media:thumbnail' you can use. If you're looking to further change the look of the image in the RSS list, you'll need to play with the row image item to get the right feel.

Thanks for your reply. My question is essentially what goes in the last line (apart from media:thumbnail) for the thumbnails to show in the feed, i.e. how do I define the url pointer to the image in BT?

Just 'media:thumbnail'. That's what I have in mine and it works no problem.

Thanks, it actually works!!! I was trying to put second item in the BT Menu (confused about the suggestion for default option I guess).... But just 'media:thumbnail' works....
