Center Buttons

If I am using a bottom, horizontal button menu, and I only have two buttons, is there a way to center the buttons rather than them line up over to the left side?

Not really. This does raise an interesting question though. It seems that you would be able to do this but I can't think off the top of my head how you could pull it off. Hmm.. wait, maybe if the strip of buttons started in the center (Horizontal Top Center, or Horizonta Bottom Center). If this was available, and you added ONE button, it would be in the middle. But, when you added the next button, would it go to the right, or the left? The order would be tough to control. I guess it could alternate left, then right, then left, then right, etc. with each newly added button. The app-owner would have to understand how the order worked. Doens't seem too difficult to pull off technically? I'll look into this. How large are the buttons you're working with (the button size)?

Your looking at this the wrong way dave. Each new button goes to the right as usual, only they stretch out as equal sizes like many apps do. I could post screenshots of some of my apps that do this. 2 buttons would be centered by stretching half ways equally - get what I mean? I think that's what this guy wants too :) But I'm a little confused, are they not all centered already in 1.5? Would have thought that was something that was (no offense here david) something that should have been basic (not suggested as a feature). Also, the stretching... would be ideal for more iPad compatibility. David.

I'm an idiot - he means the buttons inside the tabs, not the tabs - *facepalm*. But the stretching tabs for iPad - still would be cool! ;P David.
