Home screen

Is there a way to set iOS app to always start at the home screen when launched. When I open the app, it always starts where I left off, where I closed it.

The reason you get that is because you have multitasking enabled, thus when closing the app (or when you think your closing the app) your actually just minimizing it (putting it into the background but not exiting/shutting it down). So when you open it again, it stayed where you left off. All buzz apps reset and go to the homescreen when closed/exited. Try rebooting your ipod and launching the app again, or try holding down the home button in the app (effectively exiting it) and you will see it reset back to the homepage :) David.

v1.4 apps and v1.5 apps don't restart by themselves. Like David mentioned, the behavior is an effect of the device. This is an important concept. Apple will reject an app that somehow 're-starts' each time it's brought to the forefront in a multi-taksing enabled device. Older devices will start your app on the home screen because they are not multi-tasking enabled. New devices will start it where the user left off unless they explicitly 'kill' the app. Hope this helps.
