Looking to create a chat room of sorts any help with ideas?

Anyone know of a way I can incorporate an easy way for people to pose questions and the ability for others to comment? Not Scringo, already have that... I'm looking for a way like people chat in Facebook but in my iOS app.., any help is appreciated.

There are a lot of other options, but it would seem that all of them cost money to use - and if you happen to have a lot of monthly users, then they cost a LOT of money to use. This is the reason I use Scringo..their chat feature is not very impressive and they haven't updated their SDK in months, but it is 100% free so I can't really complain. If I were to start paying for a premium chat backend in the future, I would probably try QuickBlox first - http://quickblox.com/modules/chat/ - if you have less than 20,000 monthly active users then it is free to use

Nice to see you again, Absentia! Parse is another option. Yet you will have to build it. -- Niraj

Has anyone tried QuickBlox in BT yet. I'm been looking for chat plugin that uses Facebook/twitter login for a long time. I tried Scringo, but not too happy with it.

@Niraj - yeah, I don't post here as much as I used to..the last few months have been busy with getting married and everything leading up to it! I'm diving back in to full time app development now, so hopefully I'll be around more often :) I just noticed that angry ninja has a chat plugin available for free..has anybody tried it out?
