Or you can modify the code of any of the other plugins once your project has been exported to Eclipse or XCode. If you're just checking things out, then as Krompa says, use the blank plugin as a springboard for your ideas. But because BT uses 1 class per screen type, you can't use 'several' blank plugins for different screen types, because they'll all reference that single class. When you become a BT Member you can create custom plugins for as many screen types as you need. When the plugin is finished, you can keep it to yourself, or sell/give it in the Plugin Market. Membership also allows for self hosting, which can open up more capabilities, such as using the free BT_addOns package to facilitate and manage your SQL Database connection to your app. Just a thought...
