refresh button

My refresh button on my home screen has disappeared on my device but not in the simulator. My home home screen is an html page. If it means anything, I did change the config file.

This is strange. If an app does not use a remote URL to get it's data, it won't have a refresh button (no need). There are few reasons to remove the dataURL (Core Settings) for the application data provider but some folks do in circumstances where they want the app to work 100% in offline mode. So, if the sim has a refresh button, but the device doesn't, it sounds like the Device and the Sim are using a different configuration file? Not sure how or why but it does sound like this. You should probably just DELETE the app from the Phone then re-install, it should match the simulator.

I was getting a problem with the app not recognizing the config data, and I found a thread on here that fixed it. But this is the result... No refresh button. I followed your info in this thread. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=5B5CAC2751ED84E79D93B0D&status=&searchInput=config&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1

If this means you removed the dataURL from the configuration file (in Xcode), you won't see a refresh button. This is because tapping refresh wouldn't do any good, or make any sense, there isn't any dataURL to refresh the data from. -If you want to host the data in your buzztouch control panel. Use the default dataURL in the control panel -If you want to host the data on your website, enter the URL to the configuration file you copied and uploaded to your website. -If you want to remove the dataURL, it won't need internet and won't be updatable and won't show a refresh button.
