Does this mean you re-installed an app on the simulator and it's black? Do you have a home screen configured? This could mean anything really. a) Remove the app from the simulator b) Re-launch the simulator so it re-installs itself c) Open the Console in Xcode to see the output of the process (it gives clues when things go wrong) If this doesn't work, post the name of the app, we'll see if we can duplicate the problem on this end.
