Reducing file size

I was wondering if there are any files I can remove from the project to reduce the file size. Obviously this would have to be anything I don't use in my project, but I'm unsure of what I can remove without ruining anything. For this particular app, I will just be using an image gallery and html doc. The sample video is the only file of significant size that also seems safe to remove.. Thanks

You can always trim but if you don't no what you are doing (I don't) you can kill dependencies etc even if the files aren't being called. One wrong move could kill your app so be careful. There'll be people that can assist but in my opinion and I may be wrong, it probably isn't worth your while. All that said, the project file sizes aren't excessive. How big is your app that you feel the need to be trimming? You having issues? If not I'd be inclined to leave it be. None of the above helps does it? Oh well.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not having any issues and I've come to the same conclusion myself. I shouldn't bother ;P Still, out of consideration for the downloaders' disc space it would have been nice to reduce the size of apps which uses few of the functions. At least the sample files can be removed safely : )

I don't really know what I'm doing either but I had no problems removing all the extra images, videos and mp3's out of my app. I left the folders in place but deleted the files. Once you do this those file names will appear in red in xcode. Just delete them from xcode as well and you shouldn't have any problems. I haven't had any issues.
