@David I'm new on buzztouch planning to create a travel app. I was checking your iValley app on android. Very nice, but I get no Google Maps only the overlays. Both on Map from start menu and on the Locate on Google Maps on the detail pages. Any clues to what might be wrong there?

Um, no. In face, It's been so long since that thing was submitted I can't even remember what it does. Kidding kind-of. Funny. I haven't heard about any map issues with that one but there are a few things it could be. Kindly post: a) What phone / device make/model b) What Android version c) What carrier I'll look into it.

Perhaps you have a more mature sample of an app involving Google Maps? I'm just researching as much as possible. Specs are: a) HTC Hero b) Android 2.1 c) T-mobile in the Netherlands Thanks

Some new info on the subject. If I wait a while the maps that are called with Locate on Google Maps show up. The general map from main menu isn't. Only pinpoints on a grid there. Maybe loading issues?

I'm thinking a ridiculously slow network? Not sure. Just checked, that app's been loaded on about 1500 devices and this is the first report of no map. It'll be something silly whatever it is.
