App not loading properly

I have sucessfully built (with no errors or warnings) code signed and installed the app on a (ad hoc) iPhone. The app shows correctly on the phone (with icon) and runs showing my default loading screen, the app framework shows correctly but no button labels, logo or about page. The functionality is there ie. when I tap the placeholder for the logo it flips and shows the about page with nothing in it, but none of the actual buttons do anything. I have tried the refresh button and very briefly the loading pop up shows but no improvement and again the about button tries to load the about page but it's empty. It runs fine in the simulator.
