Left Nav Button on HTML Doc

I have a HTML doc linked from a list on the homepage and have specified the left nav button on the HTML doc to be Done. I am linking to the same HTML doc from the main menu bottom tab and the left nav button on the HTML doc is reload. Is that a bug or done by design?

I see how this could be confusing. This is behaving the way it's designed, but the design need improvement. Your comments would be great. What's happening is this: When a screen is used as a Home Screen for a tab, or when it's the only Home Screen in a non-tabbed app - a Refresh Button appears for the top left nav when it's the 'first screen' or the Root Screen of that tab. The refresh button refreshes the entire app. When you navigate to another screen, the left button is the 'back' button. If you configure the back-button-text (left button text) to read 'Done' it will read Done only when it's been navigated to. So, the Done button isn't showing because there is not 'back' to go to when on the home screen. The challenge is figuring out where to put the refresh button. When designing an app, it's important that app owners have a way to easily refresh the content in the phone so they can see the control panel changes right away. We decided that because there was not concept of 'back' on a home-screen that it would make sense to place the refresh button there. Ideally, there would be a way to plop a refresh button somewhere else on the screen during design time, then the app owner could 'turn it off' when they were done editing. Not sure if this makes sense. Your thoughts on this, like how you may solve this challenge are appreciated. Hope this explains whats the behavior of the button.

Thanks for your quick and clear reply. I can't think of a solution right now; anyone else have an idea?
