geopoint, mapActivity

I'm getting over 130 errors like GeoPoint cannot be resolved to a type, MapActivity cannot be resolved to a type,MapView cannot be resolved to a type. I'm using eclipse helios, I did not AndroidManifest.xml (i'm not using google maps or facebook).

Hi... this happens LOTS. It's always related to your Eclipse install. You need to include the Google Maps External API, along with the Android Dev. tools in your Eclipse project. Kindly search 'Google Maps' in the forum for lots of dicussions. It's an easy fix and not difficult.

I just want to thank you guys for posting this... I had this problem and assumed it was a 1.5 beta problem and not a Eclipse problem :p
