Duplicate Pages

First up, thanks for 1.5! Still playing with it. One major problem I am having is that I'm getting duplicate pages over-writing new pages I create. So, to explain, two of my tabs use button type menus. The first tab points to home and the second tab (should) point to categories. But When I press the second tab I get the content of home but with the colour/style of categories. I hope that makes sense, and hope this is something you have already identified and are working on! Also, my third tab called content is a list-type menu but also uses the same list as the button-type menu. I hope you can help!

I downloaded your app for testing. The first tab and the second tab are button menus. Both for these menus have a background gradient because your Global Theme has a background gradien configured. It also has button layouts set to Vertical Right. Adjustments in the Global Theme apply to all screens unless a selected screen has overriden a setting. So, the advanced properties of your home tab (Radio Today Home) have overriden some properties in Button Menu Layout and Background Color. Your second tab uses your Categories screen as it's home screen. That screen has a gradient setup that is opposite of the other. White on bottom. blue on top. It's using a Grid layout. The app I'm looking at is exactly this way, just like your control panel has it configured. The third tab, a list menu, is white and doesn't look anything like you button menus. I'm not sure what you mean when it says 'it used the same list as the button type' menu? I do see that one of it's rows 'points' to the jobs screen and so does a button on the home page. What is it that is not working like you expected?

Hi David It's hard to explain. I have tab 1 set up with two items now - news and jobs - in a vertical menu. When I press tab 2 it shows me the same two items but in a grid. When I press tab 3 it shows me the same two items in a text list. I have just realised if I refresh the items on tab 2 and 3 by pulling down the screen, it changes to what it should be. Strange!

Firstly, after making changes in the control panel, ALWAYS use the refresh button on the home screen - it refreshes all the data for the entire app. Get in this habit. Im looking at your app right now, in the simulator. Tab one has two items and tab 2 has 6 items. Again, I'm confused. In your control panel you decide what screens load for each button tap.

I am using my iPhone as my test device, and always pressing the refresh button. Let me upload a video to show you what I am doing.

Hello folks, I have the same situation here. Two tabs show initially the same list (of the first tab) while they point to diferent screens. Refreshing the total app data does not help. Refreshing the tab screen with the wrong list (By sliding this screen) helps. However refreshing the app, it starts all over again. Greetings Rick

HI guys... need to make sure this gets figured out for you. This issue was reported LOTS of times earlier in the week. We make an adjustment to the way the source-code and configuration data work together to build the tabs screens. Could it be that you are still using an older version of the source-code for you project? I'm thinking maybe you downloaded the version PRIOR to it being updated on the download server. Kindly re-download the source-code for your project and see if anythign changes. Post your findings here. Thnx.

Hello David, I used an older download. After rebuilding the app the duplicated pages were gone! Thanks for your advice, greetings Rick
