Hello Im new to this but maybe someone can help me. I am having trouble with the app not showing current location on the map and also not being able to give driving directions. I get the error We can't find you? Driving directions cannot be determined because your device is not reporting it's location.

Android or iOS? Simulator or device?

Android and I am testing it on the device and also same error on Simulator.

Do you have the Google Maps External Library installed? How about your Debug and Release keys?

And do you have the GPS on the phone turned on?

It is currently running thr Debug key and the GPS is turned on the phone and I believe Google Maps External Library is installed

It is running Googles API 1.6

Ok I had a lot of problems getting maps to work at first but after some trial and error I was able to figure them out. You need to make sure that your api key for google is correct. I am not sure if you got the MD5 certificate and used that to get your api key or how far along you are with this. Also I know when you go to release your app to the store there is an extra line that you have to modify it is under res/layout/screen_locationmap.xml you need to change the one line from @string/googleMapsAPIKeyDebug to @string/googleMapsAPIKeyRelease otherwise once you are running off of your new keystore and in the market the maps will not work.
