Apple Developer Site Confusion

Buzztouch is clear and understandable but I can't say the same about the Apple Developer site. Can you recommend anyplace or person to help take my xcode, etc. to the next level? Thanks

WE SOOOOO FEEL YOUR PAIN. In the early days, we struggled and struggled to figure out the Apple Developer site. We got started BEFORE the iPhone existed and were in a small group of folks willing to try to figure this out. Since then we have gotten better at understanding it but totally agree - they don't make it easy. Xcode and Objective C are disciplines that do take time to master. The way the language and the IDE (integrated devlopment environement) work together is unlike any we've seen. A strong argument could be made that Apple has done it better, has made programming more accessible to more folks, more powerful, etc. Another argument could be made that their 'differences' have caused more confusion, frustration, and anger than any other new technology. I digress, back to the point... You could take the traditional route and buy some books - actual books. Dig in, spend a few months hacking, breaking, testing. This does work and lots of folks respond well to this type of learning. You could also search 'Learn Objective C' or another term on YouTube. Lots of folks do better watching videos? Blogs are another great resource. Here's my favorite: http://chris-software.com/ Random thought of the day: We've been pondering the idea of starting some kind of organized iPhone Development Certificate Program or something like it. buzztouch U sounds good ;-) The idea would be to charge folks a fee to participate and spend the necessary amount of time organizing and publishing webinars, lessons, and other Objective C material is such a way that completing the course would have meaningful implications. Not just more online tutorials, but an actual class / school type settings. Your thoughts on this would be great. Do you think it's a waste of time? What might you pay for a program like this? Thx and good luck.

FYI: You're account has been added to the Early Adopter list. Feel free to explore the newest version, v1.5 for iOS. We hope you're impressed. Lastly, figured you'de get a kick outta this. My first apartment, in the 80's, was on the corner of Bradshaw and Folsom Blvd - just up the street from your Google Map Marker. Good stuff. Spent the first 30 years in and around Sac-town.

Very cool. This is my second it's a small world incident today discovering a guy who built a very successful automated dialing system for businesses. Thanks for the response. What I am doing in the interim is looking for someone on odesk.com who can help me work through the next phase. in the meantime I will dig into the apple developer site and see if I can work through it, but for my non techie mentality, I think it would be more efficient to have someone hold my hand through this process.
