Map of App hits around the world

It's just a daft wee Android app while I work in 1.5 but have a look at the downloads and active installs as reported by Android Marketplace. 167 total 90 active installs (53%) http://twitpic.com/3xtfrq Just so everyone that is struggling or yet to publish, this stuff gets hits and it is free!

Any more progress on this today? Saw one yesterday that reached 10,000 downloads in two days ;-) It still amazes us how far the reach can be, it's a very big world!

Phenomenal stuff. Hopefully anyone having issues will read this and see the rewards. Back to my two new v1.5 apps tonight, so nice to be sticking in xCode at the moment. Don't know how you chaps (I'm assuming it's plural) do it but keep it up.

It's getting more and more difficult - not surprising considering thousands and thousands of apps are based on the project. May need to write a 'buzztouch for dummies' yellow book! Hmm... may be worth doing? Actually, v1.5 has made the support requests 100% easier because the engineering is so much more flexible making it easier for us to lend advice and instruction. v1.4 is a buggy little thing that isn't flexible enough to easily change when something isn't quite right. Android issues continue to take up lots of time because of the complexities revolving around setting up a development environment. Sure wish there was a version of Eclpise that 'just worked' like Xcode. Eclipse + Android SDK + 500 Emulators + Java = nightmare for many! v1.5 for Android is coming along and should make it MUCH easier to understand. bye for now.
