This is the idea... menu screens don't have bottom toolbars and menu screens are usually used a home screen. Because they don't have bottom toolbars, if you added background music you would not get the 'music player' button because there is no bottom toolbar. Plus, it's almost NEVER a good idea to start playing music as soon as an app launches - almost everyone will complain. You could, just not a good idea. So... create a basic screen with background music, set it to 'not turn off when screen unloads', add an item on the home screen to load it... when it loads the music will start, when the user goes back the music will continue.
