Anyone know where I can change the Default.png image into a .m4v video to make a video splash screen? This would be awesome :-)

Video splash screen - you guys are always thinking! The new release supports image splash screens and I'm already thinking of ways to do it different with videos! Good stuff. This will be a difficult design for a few reasons, mostly releated to the way Android / iOS handle videos and the need to establish a 100% 'loaded app' before playing media. I'll look into this - seems worth doing. Maybe the best idea I've heard in awhile ;-)

It seems that you're having lots of different troubles on iPad but not iPhone - right? Does this mean the above works on iPhone but not on iPad?

Well that is what it appears to be like at the moment. Not sure what to advise then. We've not done much with the new Xcode (yet) but hope to. Sigh...doubt it's related to the Objective-C source because it wouldn't work in any device if it were - right? Who knows at this point.

Thanks David. I agree and will keep experimenting. It does not appear to be code related. It even runs initially on the iPad 4.3, correctly shows the splash, but then the refresh makes it go into void aka black screen.
