There are tons of books & websites on this subject - I'd suggest a Google search to begin, not knowing where your base of knowledge on programming is. Assuming it's minimal, like mine, I'd also suggest building an app here with Buzztouch, then looking through the source code and seeing how it works. That's been a tremendous help.

Youtube is also a great place to start. Sometimes seeing it in action can help you get through the steps.

Good suggestions. I agree, there are lots and lots of ways to begin your journey with any new language and technology. As much as I would love to think the buzztouch platform would be a great way to start (it is for lots and lots of folks) I believe strongly that a dash of diversity is important. What I mean is that digging through the buzztouch code is super-valuable but it is written, and the various strategies it uses to solve some problems, are only one approach. There are always many angles and approaches developers can take to solve the very same problems and understanding this concept is an important part of learning the fundamentals of programming. The fundamentals are the most imporatnt part. Not the tricks, not the sizzle, the fundamentals. So, go for DIVERSITY when learning. Find a few books (not just one), find a few example projects (like the buzztouch project), and always ALWAYS keep in mind that the apporach you take to solve a problem with objective - C will be your approach, your decision, your attempt. There will always be folks that tell you that you could have done it differently, and you will always question the aproaches you take, especially as you gather some skills. Try, try, and try some more. Don't get discouraged, and don't give up. I'm convinced 100% that anyone can learn to create compelling apps given enough effort.
