v1.5 does support iPad natively. To get on the early adopter list, send an email to info at buzztouch.com with Early Adopter as the subject line.

So does this mean you will be able to create 2 versions of your app 1 for iphone and one for ipad?

It means that you can decide. v1.5 is designed to be a Univsersal App - meaning it will install and run natively on both devices. Native iPad app's are full-scale, and don't have the 2x button to enlarge the app because it was built for an iPhone. Because the app is meant to be Universal, an app creator could adjust the Build Settings in Xcode to make it only available on iPad or Only available on iPhone - etc. There are some cicumstances where this will be ideal, most folks will just submit the app as designed and be happy that it works on both devices. Hope this makes sense.

ok what I understand is the choice to make it work on iPad full scale without the 2x will come from the xcode with 1.5 is this correct?

yes. When you donwload the source for your v1.5 project, it's assumed you will want it to work on both devices and it will. If you want it work on only one device, you'll make a small adjustment in the Xcode build settings.

Yup. v1.5 apps are designed to be Universal iOS apps (for all the devices). This is why the control panel has settings for 'Small Device' and 'Large Device' - in the theme and other places. An app owner could submit the app to ONLY support iPhone or iPad, depending on their preference. This would is just a matter of updating the build settings in Xcode. It's assumed that 'Both' is the goal.
