frustration with android

MY IOS app is up and running smooth. Was very easy to figure it out and submit it. I am having a heck of a time with the android app. All I keep getting in eclipse is errors on the project once imported into eclipse. I did everything the readme says to do, still no gas. I cant even get the stupid emulator to create an sd card to be able to start an emulator. I have all of the SDK's available installed from google to android. HELP! I am stuck, my company is waiting for me to finish the droid app. By the way, the droid app is not as simple as the apple ios interface. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Nice guide for installing eclipse and the sdks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoWVeXizfbo SDKS link: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html ADT Plugin for eclipse: http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html make sure once your done the above steps, follow the video, when she explains about the adt make sure you install all the add ons that you can under android sdk and avd manager in eclipse (can be found under the windows tab), some may not install under third party but you should be fine. patience is virtue my friend.

For sure the Android environment is hectic - soooo frustrating sometimes. It makes sense that it would be, Eclipse has been around for a very longtime and lots of software relies on it. iOS is just that - iOS. I digress. It's tough to say what types of errors you are having but ALL of them are easily figured out once you get the hang of it. Maybe start by posting some of the error message in the console?
