Hello, I would like to integrate QRcode scanning into my app. I downloaded and tried to follow the ZXingWidget but I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

What the heck is ZXingWidget - funny. QRCode's can normally be scanned with any Android Device without any special add-ons. I guess it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're trying to make a scanner (like the native, built in Android QR reader, buzztouch can't help). We do hope to introduce Bar-Code and QR scanning functions so you can add a scanner to your app that would allow folks to scan QR's and Bar-Codes that you create but that feature is on a long-term roadmap.

ZXingWidget is the open source for barcode scanning. They actually have a scanner app created for the iphone but I can integrate that into the project that I created from buzztouch. Can you give me procedures on how to integrate that app into a menu item in the buzztouch app? Sorry, I am new to coding.

I can't give you any assistance in integrating ZXingWidget, I've never worked with it. It sounds like it's something to we could look into. Maybe hire a mobile developer to help you figure it out? Afterall, you can integrate ANYTHING with ANY app if you understand Objective - C and the iOS framework. Because you are new to programming, I'm thinking you'll be best working with a professional that is used to this kind of thing. We can't do customizations for folks because we simply don't have a time. It difficult enough to keep this going wihtout getting involved in literally thousands and thousands of apps created on the site. Thanks for understanding - do Google Search for Mobile Developers and see what you come up with. Or... create a forum thread with Help with integrating scanner or something as the title, maybe somebody that visits this site can help. Lastly, if we get into figuring out what ZXingWidget is and how it works, we'll let you know ;-)
